A Condominium for Ants

Maybe better described as Co-Operative housing.
Can you imagine if our condo boards were this productive? :)

Got Bike?

Remember that "Yellow Bike" program in the 90's in St. Paul? Total flop - all the bikes were ripped off.

Well . . . here's a better idea. There's a big push to get a legitimate bike sharing program going in Minneapolis. Check out the Nice Ride MN website. This system has been tested and seems to be doing well in Europe. I saw something similar in Barcelona. This could be a nice addition to the city.

Note: There are public hearings coming up on this - see the website.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of any condo buildings with a bike sharing program in their building?

Loop is in a tailspin.

Unfortunate news about Loop Calhoun in the Star Tribune. See article. This is what I have referred to in a past post as a "Broken Condo" where buyers and prospective buyers are in limbo. I've also heard this situation referred to as a "Nondo." Cute name, but the situation is serious for all involved. Time will heal this wound but it will require some patience.

Loop Calhoun was a very well-promoted project in a high-profile neighborhood near the lakes. I am still surprised at this outcome.
